Ahwatukee Baseball

Ahwatukee Baseball is led by Kevin Clouser.

 

A native of Lewiston, Idaho, Kevin played college baseball at Kent State University in Kent, Ohio. upon finishing his playing days, He began his coaching career at Kent State in 1998. Kevin coached in college for four years, including two years at Lewis-Clark State and winning an NAIA National Championship in 2000.

 

Kevin Scouted full time for ten years, five with the Pittsburgh Pirates in the Northwest, Canada and Southern California and five years with the Milwaukee Brewers in the four corners. During his time in professional baseball,  Kevin served an assistant coach with the Bradenton Pirates and Arizona Brewers.  

Kevin has been coaching at the high school level for over eight years. In 2019 he became the winningest head coach in school history at Higley High School in Gilbert and is currently in his first year as the pitching coach at Desert Vista High School. 

Kevin has been an Ahwatukee resident since 2010 with his wife Lindsay and their two children, Cooper and Morgan.  Kevin is a regular volunteer in the area and has coached for eight years in Ahwatukee youth baseball, two in Pony League and six in Ahwatukee Little League, most recently serving as the manager for the 2019 Ahwatukee Majors All Star team.
